Led by Obsidian Bar in Shenzhen at No. 51, the extended list spans 23 cities and welcomes 14 new entries this year. Notable newcomers include Phnom Penh’s Sora at No. 65 and Kaohsiung’s Maltail at No. 75 — the latter marking the city’s debut on the roster.

Singapore dominates with six bars, headlined by fresh entrant Side Door at No. 53. Seoul, Shanghai, Taipei, and Tokyo each contribute four venues, highlighting the region’s competitive cocktail landscape.
Compared with 2024, this year’s extended list shows a slight shift in the balance of power. While 2024 also featured 14 new entries, Singapore’s representation dipped from eight bars to six, as Bangkok and Hong Kong maintained strong showings with three each. Additionally, Seoul has strengthened its presence by climbing to four entries in 2025, up from three in 2024
Emma Sleight, Head of Content for Asia’s 50 Best Bars, remarked:
“It’s a pleasure to welcome such a vibrant and eclectic mix of bars… The yearly surge of new entries and the emergence of fresh destinations reflect a region in constant evolution.”
The complete list of 51–100 is now live on the 50 Best website. The main event, counting down the top 50 bars, will take place at Wynn Palace, Macau, on Tuesday, July 15, with live streaming available via the 50 Best YouTube channel.
